In Heat & Cool mode, why isn’t there an option to have the fan kick in at night to bring down the temperature. For example, if my settings are 65-72, and the outside temperature is 63, one would think that you could run the fan to bring down the temperature lower than 72 so that the AC doesn’t have to kick in as much.
I know about the fan schedule, but that won’t work if the outside temperature is higher than my upper limit, so if the temperature is >72 at night and my fan schedule kicks in then it’ll warm up the house instead

Hi @hlyns,
I understand your frustration with the current limitations of the Nest Thermostat's fan control. It's a great idea to optimize energy efficiency by running the fan to pre-cool the house before engaging the AC.
Unfortunately, the Nest Thermostat's current fan schedule feature doesn't offer the flexibility to dynamically adjust based on outdoor temperatures.
