Very disappointed Nest Support

I'm very disappointed in Nest support. I have many Nest devices. Two nest thermostats. One stopped working all of sudden after working fine for two years. 

Google nest support informed it was hvac wiring issues, hired a contractor and spent money to confirm all wiring was fine. Replaced new nest to test and new device worked fine, Old device was faulty. 

After calling back and 30-40 mins the support agent hung up and me and didn't return call with call back number. 

I'm being told device is out of warranty, I would expect a $60 device be replaced after 2 years but a $250 device should be replaced and expected to last more than 2 year. 

 

 

Will look into moving to Amazon smart home products.
