W5 error nest thermostat

Got the W5 error code. Did all trouble shooting steps but the thermostat can no longer find our WiFi network, though nothing has changed. Called google twice and they dropped me while I was talking to an agent. No call back even though they had my number. I need help now!!!

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that your Nest Thermostat no longer connects to the internet. Let me take a look at this for you. 

 

Are you located in North America or Europe? What type of Nest Thermostat do you have? Could you list down the steps you did with our support? Also, do you have the Case ID from your conversation with support? If you can provide that here, I'll look it up and see how I can continue to help.

I have the same problem w5 code despite restarting and rebooting wi fi

I am in N America. I believe I have a learning 3rd gen Nest. Neither of my support reps got very far - even though we were on a long time. I reset the nest multiple times, manually entered in the network, restarted my modem, etc. Nothing worked
