There are lots of questions asked about Nest short cycling when heating, but no answers.  I am fed up with this product.  Just want to say I am done with the Nest product and going with an Ecobee.

Hello inthevice,

Sorry if you feel that way—we're trying to be as responsive as we can. Are you having an issue with your system that short cycles? I'd be happy to shed some light on the situation here.

Short cycles usually happen when the powered wire isn't sufficient to sustain the needs, so it uses the power of the inactive wire. To isolate:

How is your Nest Thermostat wired? A picture of its wiring setup is a big help.
What is the power reading of your Nest Thermostat? Go to its Technical Info settings > Power.
How often does the thermostat stop cycling? Is it for Cooling, Heating or both?

I'll look forward to your response.

Regards,
Mark
