Why is professional installation required?

I’m trying to install my nest that I brought From my home to my new condo but it’s telling me professional installation is required. Is there anyway I can Get around this? I do not want to pay $250+ for someone to come out and will just have to make do with the preinstalled thermostat. Can anyone assist with the wiring?

Looks like you have a heat pump system (B wire is usually for a heat pump to switch over from ac to heat) and also 2 wires on the heat outputs W1 and W2.

If you go to the indoor unit and take the panel off the front take pics of the make and model number of the unit, and pics of the thermostat wires connected to the screw terminals.

Then look on the panel there is usually a decal with wiring diagrams of the thermostat wires with notes in the corner for different setups so do some research and post the pics on here.
