Sorry to hear about your fluctuating temperatures! I can understand the confusion behind its behavior. Let's work together on this.

There are several reasons that can cause that fluctuating temperature difference.
- It's likely that your thermostat is still trying to learn about your temperature preferences, which can take up to two weeks to calibrate--especially if it was recently installed.
- When your system and thermostat are working normally, there can be a small difference between what the app and your Google Nest Thermostat show and the temperature you feel. For instance, there may be a small temperature swing because your thermostat will wait to turn on your system until it gets to about 1ºF (0.5ºC) warmer or cooler than the temperature you’ve set. This is to prevent unnecessary wear on your system and help save energy.
- Your thermostat could be placed in a warmer/cooler area than the rest of the house.

Here's a guide on troubleshooting this issue for your reference. However, if you'd like to set a temperature schedule that remains stable, you can disable its learning features and manually create a schedule (E and Learning models) at this link here.

Hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions for us.
