Does anyone know if the new 2nd gen Temp Sensor will now allow for notifications to be set at custom temperatures? I know that currently that it notifies you at extremely high and low temps, but you cannot customize it.
I.e. I want to be notified if it goes below 19 C or above 23 C in the nursery. I want to install a second one in the older childs room to notify me at below 18 C or above 24 C and then the main thermostat to notify me at the extremes (5 C or 30 C)
Backstory - we have a gen 1 and installed it in the nursery. The temp in our house is set to use that sensor only. One night the baby woke us up so we had to go take care of him. When we entered the room it was HOT, like 28 C hot!! Checking the app, it for some reason switched back to using our main thermostat in the kitchen and had been blasting heat into the small nursery all night and was continuing to do so. Had the baby not woken up, he easily could have died as the room kept getting hotter. The fact that you cannot set custom alerts for the sensor is outrageous. We have a 2nd child on the way now, so ideally I want to have 2 sensors, however this is useless if they will not notify us at dangerous temps.
