Will a hard reset turn off rush hour?

If I hard reset my nest thermostat, will rush hour turn off? It’s an incredibly annoying feature in my situation.

No, a reset won't help as the Rush Hour Reward program is linked to your account that is connected to the device. You can unenroll by fill out a contact form. See this link: Sign up for Rush Hour Rewards and manage participation - Google Nest Help 

I had a Rush Hour event in my area and I just overrode it by manually adjusting the temperature. I don't find the Rush Hour program helpful in my climate (drastic cool down via AC is useless and uses more energy when it is 116...) so I plan to unenroll as well.
