Window Reminders Not Working

I have window reminders enabled on my Nest 4th Gen thermostat. It's supposed to send a notification when the outside temperature is lower than the inside temperature to remind you to open up the windows. I have not received any notifications in the month I've owned the thermostat. Is this feature not working?
