Wiring for Nest Heat Link

DavidB1

The Heat Link stopped working and Google have replaced it using BOXT.  It looks like the engineer has used the same wiring configuration as was there before but although the Heat Link is on it does not trigger the boiler or the pump so we have no hot water of heating.  We have a gravity fed heating system and I have checked that the wiring looks the same as posted on the internet for this type of system.

The heat link seems to  be a newer model than the previous one which was installed in 2019  so would the wiring have changed or is it possible there is a problem with the new Heat Link?

Hi @DavidB1. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue, but we'll sort this out together. Please let me know if you press the button in the middle of the Heat Link, does anything happen?

Hey there @DavidB1, just wanted to know what's the state of your Heat Link at the moment. Any changes after pressing the button in the middle?

Hi, the problem was that the wires were not inderted into the Heatlink by BOXT the installer.  I eventually got someone out who fixed the problem in about 10minutes

You did a great job by sorting this by yourself. I'm sorry to hear about this incident, but luckily everything seems to be alright at the moment. Is there anything else I can help you with now?
