My current thermostat has wires for the W, Rc, G, and Y slots coming from the wall, and a jumper wire connecting the Rc with the Rh. Can I install a Nest Thermostat? If so, how do I configure the wires?

Hi @BJOgata!
Thanks for posting in the community.
Thank you for sharing the details about your wiring. To ensure compatibility with our Nest thermostats, please refer to the following website: Nest thermostat Compatibility Checker. This tool will help you verify if your specific HVAC system is compatible with the Nest thermostat.
If your system is compatible with our Nest thermostats and you want to know how to install it, you can take a look at the following article: Install your Nest thermostat.
Please let me know if you have more questions. Thank you.

The website made it seem compatible, but after I hooked it up, there was an error message, and when I tried to troubleshoot I got another message that it was not compatible. I'm just hoping to get clarification one way or the other.
Unfortunately I don't see a way to share a picture. That would probably help.
