I get the following error when I try to scan the QR code : Error! Unable to start device pairing. Configuration not available.
Then I tried to add it by skipping the QR code. I enter the 6 character code on the back of the unit and then it says to pick the last 4 characters of the serial number, but nothing shows up. I even reset the device and nothing.

Do you have more nest devices? They try and make a mesh network and if they are too far away the thermostat won't pair with the app properly.
When I did it last night the thermostat was trying to pair with my cameras outside since the indoor ones were offline (big problems last night). Once I got the indoor cams up and running the thermostat paired flawlessly.
