trying to log in and user password wasnt working so tried to have a password rest sent but have not recieve the link. it isnt coming through the email.

I'm sorry to hear that you lost access to your Nest app. You should receive an email notification for the verification — I'd be happy to take a look at this for you.
A few questions: have you tried selecting both Sign in with Nest and Sign in with Google options when attempting to reset your password? Could you please check your actual thermostat's Account or Nest App option to ensure that it is connected to an account? Also, try to sign in with another email address you might know that is linked to your thermostat.
