can't cancel Nest Renew

This is ridiculous. I did not signup for Nest Renew and now Google is changing the thermostats in my home throughout the day. Are you kidding me?! There is no way to disable this so called "feature". I'm on the phone with Google support for over an hour now and getting a runaround. 

Fix this app so I can opt out of this green energy, big brother scam.

To cancel your subscription, visit the Nest Renew portal and choose your enrolled home. For shared homes, remember that only the Nest Renew account owner can access all cancellation options. For detailed instructions, refer to this article: Manage your Nest Renew settings.
