1) Nest makes it too hard to know which product you have. 1st, 2nd, 15th Generation? Who knows!!!!! Why dont YOU tell us when we hit the settings button???
2) You instruct us to scan a QR code that does not exist; you let us choose “proceed without scanning”; but then require us to enter a code that does nit exist, that is nowhere to be found; and that’s all folks!
3) We know youre trying to Grule the world, but tripping all over yourselves doing a dreadful job at it. Thermostat used to work fine on my iphone, but now youre making us “migrate” through Gmail. You have serious control issues, no, literally!, youve made it totally impossible to control the product you control totally. And you want to be trusted to run my home? Get a grip!
4) “Get Support” leads us down yet another Ghole to THIS place, where all we find is other sad Geople, or victims (?), or hopeful fools, I mean Customers, asking the same **bleep** questions without resolve. Truly mind-Goggling how you stay in biz.

I found my QR code on the back of the thermostat body.

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused you. You can hold your Nest Thermostat display from its base by holding it and pulling it towards you. After that, you can find the entry code underneath your thermostat QR code that you can find at the back of your thermostat display. Also, you can visit this link to check what type of Nest Thermostat you have.
