cooling and burning

when the A/C Iis cooling,the furnace is burning to heat at the same time?what's the problem?

Hi Thomas74,

 

Thanks for reaching out here in the Google Nest Community.

 

Based on the photo you've shared, it looks like it is a heat pump. Let's go to settings > equipment > select the right heat type and source. Also, could you verify the white wire on the star (*) terminal is for second stage cooling/heating or for humidifier.

Hello,

Think you guys all, the problem is solved, we checked the board of the furnace and found the wrong wiring on it. I am glad the thermostat now is working good!
