This issue is still not addressed. You claim a 1 degree swing which is not true. At best it would be plus or minus 1 degree but that is not actually so either. Example. I set it at the lowest increment of 78 degrees. It seems they are 1/4 degree increments on thermostat. Thermostat been displaying 79 degrees for some time and it is very uncomfortable. I adjust down one step which would presumably be then be      77 3/4 degrees. When system finally shuts down it is a chilly 76 degrees.
Simple math might call that a three degree swing. At the very least it is inefficient relative to comfort zone.
