for whatever reason nest signed out on my phone. says i need to sign back in but it wont let me

for whatever reason nest signed out on my phone. When I try to sign back in, i get a message saying:" Permission needed To use the nest app with you google account, you need to grant the nest app permission to see and use date about your home from the google home app"

I contacted support via chat, who told me to reinstall the app, and I did, without change.
despite it saying it'd stay open for 24hrs, they ended the chat after 5 min of inactivity.

I tried to sign back into the chat, and it wont let me, says the chat is ended, so I decided to post here.

hopefully someone who's gone through it, can help me out.

I also am having issues with 4 google nests in a house. connected a Common wire to all of them and when you open google home on your phone some disconnect from wifi and default back to Eco mode...

In your browser, if you click on your profile in the upper right corner and select "Manage your Google Account" land select "Security" and scroll down to "Your connections to third-party apps and services" and click on "See all connections", "Nest" should be listed; you can click on it and check the details.
