the house will not get below 80 degrees'.
the green "leaf" icon shows even though it is shut off.
We are boiling. We have a new (8 monthold) large air handler and top notch a/c central air installed.
It stays 80 degrees all day and the "history" shows the a/c ran all. . day. long.
thoughts? (we vacuum the condensastion hose and changed the fiters)

I’m in the same boat. I work in a body shop and it’s 90 effin degrees all day and I gotta come home to an 85 degree house. I’ve read 50 google results and threads in this forum and every single one of them says to go in the google nest app and turn it off. The problem is, I was forced to migrate all my devices to the google home app and control them here. I have the google nest app, but can no longer access/control my thermostats there.
I see absolutely no reason to continue using these pieces of ****. I spend hundreds for 3 of the stupid things and I’m sick of it and am going to write it off as a loss, smash them with a hammer and go back to $20 analog thermostats.
also, I’ve been using these nest stats for a while now and can say with 100% certainty that my energy costs have increased despite the eco mode boiling my lungs. Higher in the winter, higher in the summer. 100% garbage.

Hi folks,
Thanks for posting and sorry to hear about this situation with your Nest Thermostat. No worries, help is here! I understand it's frustrating when the temperature won't adjust as expected. Let's see if adjusting the Safety Temperature settings can help. Here are the steps to change the temperature range:
Please take a look and let me know how that goes.
Regards,
Axel.
