nest does not find thermostat

I am trying to install a nest thermostat (non-learning). I have installed the google home app and the nest app. when i tried to 'find devices' it cannot find the thermostat. I have wired the baseplate but have not plugged the thermostat into it yet.

turned out it was a ID 10 T error. 🙂 i had to scroll down to see more options. i was able to get the thermostat connected however now i need a c wire which my system does not have. 😞

I purchased a c-wire adapter that I can plug in and 'connect' the c-wire. Unfortunately I have to wait til it arrives before I can install my thermostat completely. I am a truck driver so it might be a few weeks before I can complete the install. Another option would have been to purchase a nest power connector, however, this would require it to be attached to the control board on the a/c. Hope all this info helps the next person. 🙂

Received my power adapter for the c-wire. Installed the nest thermostat and all is good. 🙂
