nest on a Worcester Bosch 8000 life (uk)

Hi

trying to figure something out here I just got a Worcester Bosch 8000 life (uk) and looking to upgrade to nest ( I did have tado but seems there are a fair few compatibility issues with it).

just looking for advice

am I able to use this with nest and will it support modulation or will I need an extra adaptor? and if anyone else has any pointers be glad to know

also what smart TRVs would you recommend? thanks

Hi there, thank you so much for reaching out. In regards of the compatibility, did you have the chance to run a compatibility checker? 

In regards of the modulation, do you mean Open therm connection?

About the TRV's the google Nest Learning thermostat can work with them but they always need to be set to fully open.

i did check on there and says it’s compatible. But it seems generic not tailored to this boiler. 
part of it so it can basically adjust the boilers flow rather than on or iff

oh so nothing works for them 😞

Thank you so much for letting me know. If the compatibility checker says it's compatible then it should be and also if it's Opentherm (modulating) then there should be no issue with compatibility. May I suggest to contact a Google Nest certified installer for this?
