I have a gen 3 nest learning thermostat that was working fine. Now I cannot reconnect the nest thermostat app to the thermostat, which is connected to my wifi network. I have executed all recommended google steps. Can you advise, please? Thanks in advance.

I have the same experience. I had my a c tech come out and he said this was a Common issue with the nest thermostat. He suggested.
Calling nest customer service. I called the 1 800 number. Got a recording to go online. When I went online my computer was hacked by a trojan virus. I'm going with a different brand thermostat. Since I was unable to get any answer from google nest.

for what it’s worth I called Google Nest Support yesterday and got out an agent who walked me through removing the thermostat from the app and reconnecting it. As a result, it’s working flawlessly. I wonder whether the 800 number you called was really Google.

Thanks Bob. Not sure, however I got mine working. I unplugged my router and let it restart, then t went to thermostat and did a factory reboot. Went thru each step and now it too is working through my Google Home app and my Google mini speaker.
Not sure why this didn't work yesterday.
