nest thermostat fell off cell phone app

I have been using a nest thermostat for years and all of a sudden I fell off my nest app and I can't get it back

any thoughts on how to fix this

The thermostat still works manually at home but isn't in app

not certain what version of nest  it is

If it's a Nest Learning Thermostat (3rd gen), follow these steps:

If it's a Nest Learning Thermostat (1st gen or 2nd gen) or Nest Learning Thermostat E, those are end of support and can no longer be controlled using the app I'm afraid:
