Hi @Henryji,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing detailed information. I understand that you are encountering some WiFi connection issues with your Nest thermostat. I'm here to help you find a solution together.
To assist you further, please attempt the following questions:
- What Nest thermostat model do you have?
- What's the software version of your thermostat?
- Can your other devices find your WiFi network name?
- Do you only have one Wi-Fi network, or are there others?
- Are you trying to connect to the 2.4 GHz or the 5 GHz network?
- Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the thermostat?
- Are you controlling your thermostat from the Nest or Google Home app or the thermostat display?
- Does it show offline in the Nest or Google Home app or indicated on the device?
- Are other non-Nest devices in the home offline?
- Can the thermostat find or detect other networks?
- Has there been any recent change in the home Wi-Fi network?
- Is the Wi-Fi router or access point within a reasonable range (1 to 15 meters) between 3 and 50 feet from the Nest devices?
Please keep me posted.
Warm regards,
Jeremy.
