Hello calzonejoe,

Thanks for reaching out. It sounds like you've encountered an issue with your Nest Thermostat after a replacement. The "no power to Rh wire" message could be due to a few reasons. Let's troubleshoot together:

  1. Ensure that the Rh (power) wire is securely connected and receiving power. Sometimes a loose connection can cause this issue.
  2. Check if there's a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse in your HVAC system. Resetting the breaker or replacing the fuse might resolve the power issue.'
  3. Turn off the power to your HVAC system, then re-seat the Rh wire in the Nest's base plate. Ensure a snug fit to avoid any connectivity issues.
  4. Gather the power readings in the Technical Info.

Also, did we replace a whole Nest Thermostat unit? Does it have a C wire installed?

Let me know how it goes.

Best regards,
Mark
