new icon on screen

Hi all,

My nest thermostat has been running for about 5 days. Today I have an icon which is yellow circle with a black water drop in it. What does this mean? My thermostat is in eco currently, there is a hot water schedule set but we are currently out of that period. It is not the yellow gear with a leaf, I can find no reference to it on Nest support.

(Boiler is currently on, despite nest telling me it's off)

Sorry didnt see your second reply, yes it looks to be the bacterial prevention icon.

Most hot water systems are compatible with the Nest thermostat’s Bacteria Prevention mode, so it’s recommended that you keep it on. But you can turn it off if you’ll be away for an extended time, such as if you have a holiday home you only use during the summer.

1.Press your thermostat ring to bring up the Quick
View menu
2.Select Settings

.
3. Select Equipment and Continue.
4. Choose Bacteria Prevention.
5. Turn Bacteria Prevention on or off.

Although not mentioned by colour I think this was my icon. https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9256656?hl=en#zippy=

I have the hot water on for an hour every morning and an hour every evening. We wash dishes and normally someone has at least 1 shower during the day. (family home)

Would we need the water to be on for 2 consecutive hours to avoid legionella? It seems excessive in a family home with a relatively small hot water closed vent system.
