no option for Heat Pump Balance

I have a Nest Learning Thermostat and a 1 Stage Heat Pump with Aux Heat system. Both the heat pump and aux heat have been tested, working fine through the Nest menu. It is currently running the heat pump through the Nest thermostat, but still there is no option for Heat Pump Balance under the Nest Sense menu. Why?

Hi potage,

Thanks for reaching out. I'd love to know more about this. Could you share a photo of how your Nest Thermostat is wired? Also, if you haven't yet, please check this link to learn more about Heat Pump balance.

Thanks,

Edward

I also have a Nest Learning Thermostat with a 2 Stage Heat Pump with Aux Heat system and there is no option for Heat Pump Balance.  I have a 2nd 1 Stage Heat Pump wired very similar except for the 2nd stage wire (Y2) and it does have the Heat Pump Balance option.  I have attached a photo showing the wiring of the 2 Stage thermostat that doesn't show this option.  What am I missing and how do I get this Balance option?  Thanks!thermostat wiring

@EdwardT there you go!

Please note that every « button » are press down. The W2/aux wire is my furnace electrical heater. I had it plug in W1 at first, but than change it to W2 according to the nest manual I found online.

Thank you for looking at this!

Hi folks,

Thanks for the response. To isolate the issue, could you also check the equipment options on the Nest Thermostat and make sure that it's configured correctly? You can click on this link to learn more about this.

Thanks,

Hi Edward!

I just check and yeah everything is looking good regarding the information in your link! I have forced air, heat pump going in the system with aux heating (electrical) inside the system.

Wire configuration on the nest are well configured about this!
