Hello,
My nest has been hooked up for years. I have tried to reset it. The fan will run but the AC will not turn on. It says the AC ran for 16 hours yesterday. This just isn't right as it never actually cooled it just said " cooling in 2+ hours" the entire day/ night.
How can I fix this problem?
Thank you

Hi everyone,
@qwertyuiop2, @Whitney1, thanks for reaching out. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? You can visit this link to check what type of thermostat you have. Do you see any messages or codes in the app or on the actual thermostat?
@Sikkema, I'm glad that your issue with your thermostat is now fixed.
Best,
Jenelyn

Thanks for commenting, I couldn't figure out how to get back here. I did an online chat. They wanted me to rewire the Nest but I had them instruct me on turning it off and back on (the wall thermostat) and that resolved it. Thanks!
