I bought a nest 2020 thermostat from my local electric co. I chechecked all the boxes and they said my heating system was compatible. I live in a condo, have hot water, boiler supplied, baseboard heat and one thermostat. The original thermostat is connected by two thin wires, similar to doorbell, so i assume it is a millivolt system. The wires are green and yellow but are connected to the red and white screws. I connected the wires to the correct inputs in the nest 2020 and it turns on but doesn't go any further. Before I go any further, I'm looking for some help.
