two story house, with two thermostats. 2nd floor has no wires.  I assume that it's a wireless thermostat that communicates with the box downstairs.  It's on a zoned system.  The one downstairs was the original location and that has wires.

There are a couple of thermostats out there that use wireless technology.  Provide the model number if your current 2nd story thermostat. Thank you

@FILIPINOY79 ,

your thermostat does use WiFi using Honeywell RedLink interface. It indeed 100% wireless. No wires attached to your thermostat.  The RedLink module is proprietary and only works with specific Honeywell thermostats.

where is your location?
if in the UK, the 3rd gen learning stat has a seperate heatlink that can be mains powered to the zonevalves. and then a seperate stand would be needed to provide power thethermostat head (power cable comes with stand)

you can use the E etc, but you will need to change batteries on the supplied heatlink as this is not mains powered.
