Unable to adjust temp since migrating to google. When i open app shows home and away on black screen.

Sorry to hear about this but thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community.
To confirm, do you see your Nest devices when using the Google Home app? If yes, have you tried checking other homes/structures? Also, have you tried switching homes/structures if it makes any difference? Check the steps I've listed below:
You’ll be taken back to the app home screen where you can find the Nest products you have in the home you’ve selected.
