Hi there,
I'm trying to connect a new smartbulb (Shelly GU10) to my network, which only uses 2.4Ghz can somebody help with this? How do I choose manually between 5 and 2.4Ghz when using an iPhone? I know the Nest cleverly selects by itself but this is annoying, there has to be a way to manually override surely...

There is no workaround/ way of manually enable/ disable different frequencies on Nest Wifi. But equipment should be able to connect to 2.4ghz nevertheless.
This is a problem with your IoT device(s), rather than Nest Wifi. Seems Shelly have problems with wifi in general, like jumping to the strongest AP automatically (from what I read when researching this for you).
I'd post my questions here instead:
Eventually contact Shelly support.
If Shelly really doesn't work with Nest Wifi, but you really want Shelly equipment, even though it doesn't work like Wi-Fi equipment are expected to in 2021, you could consider buying a cheap access point that allows 2.4ghz only SSID, connect it with ethernet cable to primary Nest Wifi puck.

Hi, everyone.
As we haven't had any activity here recently I'm going to go ahead and close the thread. If you have more to add, feel free to start a new discussion.
Thanks
