Adding 3rd gen 2 Nest router issue

Daniel5

Hello,

Purchased a 3rd wifi router last week. When adding to my existing wifi setup ( 2 nest routers, one wired to modem ) all are gen 2. No issues on existing ones and working well. Adding a 3rd isn’t going the way I thought. Anyways, here is what is happening. Google home app can detect the setup network with no problem. Proceeds with “preparing mesh” and then I scan the QR code of the new device. It goes into “connection failed” very quickly. Already tried to move the new device literally next to the wires router one.  Another thing I did is get the latest google home app for ios.

Error I keep getting, try again does nothing:
