Anyone got +1000Mbps with their Nest WiFi (AC2200)?

Hey everyone,

I recently upgraded my home from 1st gen google WiFi mesh pucks (AC1304). With the old mesh pucks, I was getting ~860Mbps download which is the limit of these pucks’ 5Ghz speed. So I thought I could maximize my internet plan of 1200 Mbps download by upgrading my wifi system to the 2nd gen nest WiFi which is supposedly capable of ~1700 Mbps over 5Ghz frequency. I got two nest router and two points system which is overkill for my 2600 square foot home. To my surprise, I still got ~860 Mbps from this new nest WiFi. Now I’m not sure if my ISP or my nest wifi isn’t delivering 1200 Mbps.

My question to you 2nd gen mesh WiFi adopters is, have you ever gotten +1000Mbps with your nest wifi?

Hey, Waterox.
Sorry for the late response here, but I wanted to check in to see if you were still having this issue and to see if you have done any troubleshooting so far. If you still need help, let me know and I'll be happy to work on this with you. I did want to ask, however, if you removed any points from your network when adding in the new ones. Sometimes when points are too close, they can cause a bit of interference with one another, so keeping them properly spaced is almost as important as keeping them near enough to one another.
Thanks.
