Can I connect to two different routers?

I'm at my parent's house and I was trying to connect to their WiFi by using the WPS button on their Netgear router. I didn't realize they were using a Nest Wifi router for their devices. Now my laptop is connected to the Netgear wifi but the other devices are connected to the Nest Wifi. Does that mess anything up or is that okay?

It won’t mess anything up. Although it I was your parent I’d be p£&ed 😂. As you’ve said it’s a netgear router. I take it the router will be firewalled, so no problems there. You might have an issue connecting to devices on their LAN, as if they are using the Nest router as their main router and the Netgear router, as a gateway/firewall (incidentally sounds similar to my setup), as you’re probably the wrong side of the router and connected to the considered WAN side for the Nest. This is why I disable any WPS, and ban my children from touching my network 👍
