Can i use Huawei CPE Pro 5G router with google nest wifi

Hello -

I have recently bought a nest wifi and access point with the speaker. My question is, while I. have read a lot about bridge mode, can I use the Huawei CPE Pro 5G router with the nest wifi? I am awaiting the delivery of the devices.

It might work, but it seems that the Huawei modem can't be set to bridge mode:

No guarantees that Nest Wifi will be able to work then, but it's worth a try. You will then have what's known as "double NAT", which is what you avoid by setting any upstream device from Nest Wifi in bridge mode, sometimes also called bypass mode. More on double NAT:

Short answer: Maybe.

I don't work for Google.

Thank you for your response; fortunately, I also have a ZTE 5g CPE mc801a this can be put into bridge mode, and I am happy to report the system is now set up and working better than without the nest wifi the coverage is fantastic now and faster all around the house.
