Can't see Mesh WiFi settings, password, usage, etc. in the Google Home App

Just recently, seems that I have lost the ability to pretty much do anything with my WiFi mesh through Google Home.  I can't see any updated usage stats, can't see the current password, test the Mesh, etc.  I can get into the WiFi module, but everything just times out.  I have uninstalled/reinstalled the app to no avail.

I have seen some other posts about ppl not being able to see the current WiFi password and that they had to do a network reset to correct this.  For obvious reasons, I am trying avoid that hassle.  Just had to do a full reset to add another AP a few months ago.

Any advice?

Hi MarkHj,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your Google Home app. I'd love to know more about this and I have a questions:

  • Is there a switch or a third-party router upstream from the primary point?
  • Have you tried doing a 2-minute power cycle?
  • Have you checked if it's doing the same thing on a different device?

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Edward
