Cannot connect Google router

Reset router. Stopped working.  Setting up as new device via app on iPhone.  Get to the point I scan the router in ok.  But then it says it cannot connect to setup the WiFi network. Dead in the water

Hi Franklin4455,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with setting up your Google Wifi after the reset. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:

  • What's the light status of your Google Wifi?
  • Is the ethernet cable connected to the port with the globe icon?

Also, could you check if you still have a Wifi button on your Google Home app? If so, please follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Google Home app and tap on WiFi
  2. Tap on the gear icon and select reset network
  3. Try setting up your Google Wifi router again.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Edward

I am having the same issue my device is flashing blue. When setting up through the home app, naming the network and setting the password, then it says it can’t connect
