Cant cast to TV

I had Verizon cable--I don't have a smart TV so I'm using a firestick (no remote) to cast apps ie Netflix, Hulu etc to my TV using HDMI4 to cast apps, and then watching regular cable would switch using my tv remote input botton to switch to HDMI2 to watch regular cable. This worked great no problems except buffering a bit using some apps.

Now for my problem. Got rid of cable they said they no longer use my speed anymoe need to upgrade okay fine whatever (was working great) came today to install new router now i can't cast any apps to my TV with or without the firestick, or hard wiring. Please someone help !!! Thank you
