I dont think that the ISP's modem/router 'remembers' you Google WiFi. As I understand it the modem/router treats the Google WiFi primary as a simple wired Ethernet device - it doesn't know that it is a WiFi device.
So no reconfiguration of the Google WiFi mesh necessary. But switching to a new modem/router is simpler if the new modem/router has a DCHP service and is allowed to dynamically allocate an IP address to the Google WiFi primary.

I just wanted to jump in real fast to see if you saw Davy123's reply and to see if you still needed some help on this or if you were able to get it sorted out. If you are still needing some help, just let us know and we'll be happy to continue helping.
Thanks.
