ClearNode AllStar Node Amateur Radio

PEZoba

I have Comcast internet with a NetGear CM 1200 cable modem. This connects into Google Mesh wifi router.

I am trying to connect a ClearNode AllStar node which needs ports 5198 and 5199 forwarded in both directions.

I have forwarded external ports 5198 and 5199 to confirm internal port 5198 & 5199 UDP and set the node to a reserved IP address (static) but I continue to fail the firewall test.

any help?

Hi, PEZoba.

Sorry about the late reply here and for the issues you're seeing with your port forwarding efforts. I imagine that's quite frustrating. We have a help article for port forwarding, which you can see here: https://bit.ly/2VFhZ5S.

If you're setting everything up as mentioned in the article and you're still seeing issues, please let me know and we can look at more specific causes.

Thanks.

@PEZoba, how's it going with your Google Wifi? Still need our help?

Thanks,

No, thanks. I removed the Google WiFi and installed an Eero system. All is working now.
