Hey folks,
I saw couple of useful conversations on this topic,
however, I couldn’t find the last piece of the puzzle there. If for whatever reason one wants to use powerline adapter to connect to google mesh gen 1, per my understanding and question is proposed solution by expert suggests to follow:
ISP Router -> Primary Google mesh (gen1) WAN port
Primary Google mesh (gen1) LAN port -> Powerline port
at destination:
Powerline port -> Secondary Google mesh (gen1) [WAN or LAN?]
my question is, on the secondary side, should Powerline be connected to Google mesh LAN or WAN?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello @hadifornia
Technically, on a wired secondary, both the WAN and LAN Ethernet ports are "bridged" together, so you can use either one. That said, I personally prefer picking one and sticking with it. Using the WAN port consistently, for example.
