Connected Disconnected

UltramanDad

My Nest Router is continuously dropping the signal. My Sony Android TV is hardwired to the network, but continuously informs me that it is connected, disconnected, connected, disconnected... I've checked everything with the ISP including having a docsis 3.1 modem upgrade and new cable run to the house. I see that other people are having the same issue. Is there a fix, or do I just trash this router and tell everyone what a horrible POS the Mest Mesh wifi is?

Hi UltramanDad,

Thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that your having an issue with the connectivity of your TV. I'd love to know more about this, and I have a few questions:

  • When did the issue start?
  • Are you only experiencing this on your Sony TV?

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Edward

Hi UltramanDad,

How's it going with your Google WiFi? Still need our help?

Thanks,

Edward

No. I gave up, boxed it up and purchased a Netgear wireless router. I'm very disappointed in Google for not alerting customers about the issues or attempting to fix it.
