Hi there! I have some connectivity issues keeping a stable and fast connection to the back of my normal London terrace two-up-two down house. My office, at the back of the house, has such week connection even with Google Nest WiFi Pro running of Virgin Media fibre network.
I don't know if the problem is the Virgin Media Router, the Nest Pro (doubt it) or the macbook struggling with the wifi even though the Nest Pro module is 2 feet away
I am thinking to get a TP Powerline Link to run an ethernet from the wall plug, into the Nest module in my office. Would this improve the connection?
So, the set-up would be.
1. Router in the front of the house connected to Nest #1. Plus an ethernet from the router into TP Link plug.
2. Second TP link plug in the office at the back of the house, with an ethernet cable into the Nest by my macbook.
Would this work? Does it even make sense? Apologies if this is overly complicating the situtation - just trying to get strong stable connection in my office without having to go through switching providers and all that.
Any advice would be amazing!
Thanks!

Hi @GT1980!
Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing connectivity issues in your office, despite having a Google Nest WiFi Pro system with a Virgin Media Fibre connection. I'm happy to help you!
To help me find the best solution, I'll need to ask you a few questions:
Please keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.

Hi Geremi,
The weak connection is pretty constant - I can't watch YouTube and upload a video to Frame iO at the same time, for instance and I can't take video calls with any trust in the connection.
The last speed test I ran on 7th March displayed 3.7mbps down and 2.09mbps up.
They only other device in my office is the boiler which I highly doubt has any affect on everything.
The modem is a Virgin Media Hub5 which is a router/modem combo.
I am sure the Nest WiFi is fine and the problem is with the router - maybe a TP link in the office with an ethernet into the Nest would work?
Cheers,
GT
