Previously, someone asked how to remove items from the list of devices in Google Home wifi. The response was that they would naturally disappear in around 30 days. I have grayed out offline devices that left my home over a year ago. I love the integration of wifi into my Google home, but the lack of management control that is common in home wifi products is making me look elsewhere. Is the product being upgraded?

Hi, dcrutherford.
Sorry for the issues you're having with the device list. I know it can be frustrating to see those devices on the list that are no longer being used. Typically these devices do disappear over time, usually around 30 days. At times we see some devices stay in the list, however. If a device connects even momentarily, it will reset the time needed for it to disappear, but other devices are staying put and we're still looking for a reason why that's happening. Currently there's not a way to manually edit the list, so until we can come up with a solution for the devices that won't drop off, they'll remain in place for now.
I'm sorry it's been a frustrating wait for a fix. I'll update things here when I hear more about a solution.
Thanks.
