I have a remote TV boks from a tv provider that allows streaming tv when connected to the router.
After I have installed the google nest wifi Pro (6e), and connect the remote tv box to the new Wifi Network it does not work anymore.
So I have to connect the tv box back to the router to make it work again.
I think some advanced IP settings or something with opening a port can do the trick.
Anyone can suggest a solution ?

What brand and model of remote TV box do you have? Have you checked for the manufacturer's documentation or support online that should detail how to change the Wi-Fi settings on it?

Hello @RYO
Many streaming TV boxes from internet service + TV providers use IP multicast routing to distribute live TV streams. Getting this to work through a router that wasn't designed to support it may not be possible. It's not something that can be solved via port mapping, unfortunately. I can't say for certain that this is your situation, but from the behavior, I believe it's likely.
I would reach out to your internet service provider to ask if it's possible to use a third party router. If not, the only alternatives I can think of are to keep your TV boxes connected to the "outer" router's WiFi, or – if you only have a single Nest WiFi Pro unit – configure the Nest WiFi Pro in bridge mode. Note that this doesn't work with multiple mesh secondary Nest WiFi Pro units, and you'll lose a few other router-specific features. But it should let router IP multicast streams through.
