I have a device that grabbed 192.168.86.44 when I connected it to my LAN over ethernet. I then created a DHCP reservation for it to use 192.168.86.2 and I know that no other device is using this, but it refuses to use that reserved IP, and I've powered off the device multiple times and done same with Google Wifi. I even factory reset Google Wifi network and it didn't solve this problem.
In addition to this DHCP reservation problem, I also have some static IP address problems which I've posted about here: https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Nest-Wifi/Some-static-IP-address-devices-do-not-show-up-in-li...

The DHCP reservation issue resolved itself. I still have the problem with the static IP not showing up, but I worked around it for now - https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Nest-Wifi/Some-static-IP-address-devices-do-not-show-up-in-li...
