We just had Google Fiber installed. It came with two wifi "pucks" but there's one room, which happens to be my wife's office, that doesn't get great signal. So I bought a "2020 AC1200" Google wifi puck from Amazon to boost her signal. It arrived today and the puck is different from the ones we already have: the plug is not circular, and the "G" on the top of the unit is a label, not engraved. The packaging is also different. Our original pucks are labeled as Model #GJ2CQ, while the new one is labeled AC-1304.

Hey there,
Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to drop in here to help.
I understand that wifi issues can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.
Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?
Please let me know.
Best regards,
Garrett DS

Hey, everyone.
I’m just checking in real quick to see if we needed anything else here or if we were able to resolve the problem. Let me know if there’s anything else I can do here.
Thanks
