Disable Speed Test Nest Wifi Pro

Nest Wifi Pro, taking up close to 45% of net bandwidth usage.  Is there a way to reduce the periodicity of these speed tests ? Some ISPs have data limits per month and regular speed test might not be necessarily a good use of bandwidth

I agree. There is currently no way to turn it off as far as I know. I escalated the thread, hopefully Google support can do something about it.

You can also provide this as feedback inside the Google Home app, is what Google support will say.

@toodlesq, thanks for reaching out. Like olavrb said, we have no option to turn off the speed test on the Google Home app. We can only submit feedback to our product team using the Google Home app about this, so they'll receive crash log reports from you. Check out this guide for more information.
