My front doorbell keeps going “offline.”

Thank you so much for posting in this community. I’m sorry to hear that your Nest Doorbell keeps going offline. Don’t worry; I’m willing to help you. 

I'd appreciate your help answering the following questions to gather further details and determine an optimal resolution.

  • What model of Nest Doorbell do you have? For your reference on how to identify the model, check out this article: Technical specs for Nest cameras and doorbells
  • When did the issue start?
  • Are you getting any error messages?
  • How far is the Doorbell from the router?
  • Do you have other Nest devices in the house?
  • Are there other devices connected to the same Wi-Fi where the Nest Doorbell is connected?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps so far? 
  • What Wi-Fi frequency band do you try to connect to (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)?
  • Have you made any recent network changes, such as getting a new router or moving to a new location?
